BiGiAM Agency has materialised through Mark Ede’s music obsession and the desire to champion the artists whose talent and musicality inspire him.  The first being Jo Harman, who he met at a virtual 'open mic’.  With Mark as her manager, she has become an award winning, multi-million streaming, international recording and touring artist. As a result of their 'open mic to O2 arena' journey, Mark made a lot of contacts, and decided to set up the Agency during the pandemic to support other elite artists.  BiGiAM Agency has subsequently facilitated well over 500 shows, ranging from small listening rooms to large international festivals.  BiGiAM works with a deliberately small number of inspirational artists, offering music in the classic tradition, being true to the time-honoured principles of authenticity, fine songwriting and timeless production values.

Whilst being a passionate supporter of original music, Mark has also curated or co-curated a number of acclaimed touring shows such as '4000 holes - A Trip to Beatlesville', 'The Psychedelic Circus', 'Joni Re-Imagined', 'A Night at The Canyon' and more.

He runs his own consultancy and is a regular guest speaker at schools, universities, and music conferences. He has also been a regular, and often fearless, reviewer for magazines and radio, including BBC Introducing where he earned a reputation for his intolerance for what he considered average, generic or simply 'bad' music. Previously running radio and press campaigns for a vast number of international artists, he would now advise artists that spending on such services is rarely a priority in today’s rapidly changing industry environment.

Mark has chaired a number of festivals, from charity projects to million-pound budgets.  He helped set up the Brighton Music Awards (featuring guests Jimmy Page, Roger Daltrey etc) – just one amongst a wide variety of industry projects.

Before moving into music 'full time', Mark enjoyed a successful corporate career, mainly in Communications, and he retains significant business interests outside of music. Music, however, is his passion, whether that be managing an international artist, promoting the artists he believes should be heard, or promoting local shows in his own community – all of this begins with his own enjoyment of the artists he likes, and the desire to share that with others.
